Clinical Practicum

The Private Practice Collective consists of three independent private practices that share an office suite. Drs. Cherwien Hoel, Kristen Stevens, and Melissa Treff are licensed psychologists with extensive experience in clinical supervision. The psychologists provide comprehensive outpatient mental health services, including assessment, group, and individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. 

The Private Practice Collective offers a 9 month practicum placement for students enrolled in a Master’s program. This site provides supervisees with a variety of training opportunities within a private practice setting. The site offers generalist training with individual adults, teens, and children. Specialty training is available in exposure-response prevention (ERP), cognitive-behavioral therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E), trauma informed treatment, and working with the LGBTQ+ and veteran populations. Applicants would be paired with a supervisor, based on training goals and interests. The collective offers group didactic, group consultation, and weekly individual supervision.

Application Process

We accept 1-3 practicum students for a fall start. Applications are accepted beginning mid-January.
